Penis Enlargement with Penis Pumps

is Effective

The penis pump is a cylinder-shaped vacuum system that fits around the flaccid penis and either has a motor or is manual. The device is used to pump out air and create suction, this causes blood to flow in the penis, which should lead to an erection. There are a lot of different styles and designs created by a number of manufacturers. The pressure on the blood vessels within the penis experience pressure. The level depends on the vacuum of the pump. Too much pressure can end up causing vascular damage.

The main use of penis pumps used to be to cure symptoms of impotence. However, there is no permanent cure for this. It works with the use of a tourniquet-like ring which is placed around the penis in order to keep the blood inside. If this is not used to trap the blood inside the penis, the erection will quickly die down. Penis pumps are used for those who have had prostate cancer or for those who are going through penile rehabilitation. This means that it does work on penises that have nerve or tissue damage. Although, excessive or prolonged use can cause further damage.

Users should know that pumping should be done in a gentle manner to avoid injury or nerve damage. Sometimes, pumping is done over-enthusiastically which leads to vascular damage and other serious injuries. The effectiveness of the pump for increasing the length of the penis was tested on 37 men with penises smaller than 10cm. The researchers' names were Kazem, Hosseini and Alizadeh.

The test subjects used the pump for over six months. No significant changes were seen in the penis sizes. However, a follow-up confirmed that the method produced over 30% satisfaction rate. The research found that while the penis pump did not provide a means for genital elongation, it did produce psychological satisfaction among the test subjects.

The penis pump can be prescribed to men with a medical condition. It can be covered by medical insurance in the United States if a doctor says that it is medically necessary. A lot of patients who are suffering from Peyronie's disease, which causes symptoms such as penile shortening and curvature, have found penis pumps very effective.

A study which was conducted by the Department of Urology at St Peter's Hospitals and the Institute of Urology in London found that the penis pump improved the size and shape of the penis after regular use. They based this on the results of a 31-patient study. The patients used the pump for 12 weeks and noticed a change in their penile length and a reduction of pain. The test subjects saw a significant change in size, with the average penis growing 0.5-1.5 cm in length. This was not the goal of the study and was merely a side effect, but was an interesting finding. More about the study here
